Techniques: Laser Cutting, Laser Engraving, Casting, Relief Sculptures, Digital Embroidery, Adobe CC

Original Pearl

The first pearl was a plaster cast of a relief sculpture. A photo was then taken of the cast and translated into a laser engraving file.

Digital Embroidery Pearl

The same photo was simplified, manipulated and repeated within the circle.

Trio of Pearls

A sample of materials and patterns to be used in the final piece, all manipulated from the original photo.
